Man killed in Tripp County motorcycle accident

One man died Thursday evening in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash 20 miles south of Colome in Tripp County.
The man’s name has not been released pending notification of family.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says the motorcycle was traveling north on U.S.Highway 183 when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, left the road, and rolled, throwing the 70-year-old male driver. He sustained fatal injuries.
He was wearing a helmet.
