Meeting on I29 Exit 133 interchange and Hwy 14 Bypass meeting set for this evening

The South Dakota Department of Transportation along with the City of Brookings and the Federal Highway Administration, is holding a public meeting open house this evening to provide information on the proposed recommendations of the Interstate 29, exit 133, Interchange Modification Study.

It’s from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Government Center.

The study includes I-29 from exit 132 to one-half mile north and the Highway 14 Bypass from east of Jackrabbit Avenue to Highway 14.

It’s an informal meeting that includes a prerecorded presentation. Attendees will alo be able to present written comments on the proposal.

The prerecorded presentation is available on the study website starting today.

The website also allows for online comments to be submitted. Written comment will be accepted until December first.
