Name released in Thursday’s fatal crash south of Volga

A 57-year-old Brookings man has been identified as the person who died early Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash south of Volga.
Donald Adams was the driver and only occupant. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car Adams was driving was southbound and failed to negotiate a curve near the intersection of 464th Avenue and 220th Street. The vehicle went off the roadway and rolled.
Both the time of the crash and seat belt use are under investigation.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
