No COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Saturday, the total remains 1938. There was no Sunday update.

Active cases in Brookings County increase by 5 to 151. Total cases increase by 16 to 3878. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County and there are 3,690 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 141. The County is in the “substantial” community spread category.

Statewide, active cases go up by 26 to 2443. Total cases increase by 184 to 118,361. The number of people who have recovered is 113,980. Current hospitalizations hold at 103.

Some 442,380 vaccinations have been administered in the state to 270,625 people. A total of 15,158 doses have been given in Brookings County to 10,316 people.
