Numbers of new COVID cases fall in latest SD report

Two COVID-19 deaths reported Wednesday in the Department of Health weekly update – the statewide total is 3223.
There have been 265 new cases statewide in the last week and hospitalizations increase by five to 34. There have been 282,402 total cases.
In Brookings County, there have been six new cases reported in the last week, raising the overall total to 3,743. There are 22 reported deaths in the county. Currently, there is one hospitalizations reported in Brookings County for COVID-19.
