Oncology and Hematology Services Start at Brookings Health’s Outreach Clinic
Brookings, S.D. – June 11, 2020 – Dr. Benjamin Solomon of Avera Medical Group
Oncology & Hematology will begin seeing oncology and hematology patients at
Brookings Health System’s outreach clinic starting on Wednesday, June 24. He will then
be available to see patients the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.
As a cancer specialist, Dr. Solomon treats and cares for patients diagnosed with cancer
using chemotherapy, infusions and other medications. He is available to see patients
newly diagnosed with cancer as well as those who have already been undergoing
treatment.
Dr. Solomon received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska Medical
Center. He performed both his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in
hematology and oncology at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in
Rochester, Minn. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
