Active cases in Brookings County increase by four and are at 279. Twenty new cases reported, bringing the total to 4838. Recovered cases are at 4522. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 78 to 7714. Total cases are up by 605 to 141,745. There are 131,922 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations decrease by 10 to 226.
Sixty-four percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
