One COVID-19 death reported in South Dakota Thursday, the total is now 2057.
Active cases in Brookings County increase by six and are at 89. Ten new cases reported Thursday, bringing the total to 4366. Recovered cases are at 4240. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category
Statewide, active cases increase by 192 to 2131. Total cases are up by 298 to 127,991. There are 123,803 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by 20 to 125.
Sixty-one percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
