One person killed, two injured in accident near Sioux Falls
One person was killed and two others were injured Wednesday night in a two-vehicle crash northeast of Sioux Falls.
Names are not yet being released.
According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, a car collided with an SUV at an intersection on South Dakota Highway 11. The car failed to stop at a stop sign.
The 64-year-old woman driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene. The 53-year-old woman driving the SUV sustained serious, non-life threatening injuries and was taken by ambulance to a Sioux Falls hospital. A 44-year-old male passenger in the SUV received minor injuries.
All three people were wearing seatbelts.
