Pierre police investigating child death

The Pierre Police Department is investigating the death of a child.
Police Captain Bryan Walz confirmed the investigation Monday. Due to the on-going nature of the investigation, Walz says they are not yet releasing details about what happened.
He says the investigation started with a call to police on Wednesday, April 19th. No other information has been released.
