Pine Ridge woman sentenced in stabbing death
A Pine Ridge woman has been sentenced to just under six-years in prison in the stabbing death of a man in June of 2023.
Twenty-six-year-old Stacey Bissonette was convicted of voluntary manslaughter and sentenced to 70-months in prison followed by three-years of supervised release.
The conviction stems from Bissonette stabbing a man with whom she had a romantic relationship. The man later succumbed to his injuries.
Bissonette was immediately remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
