Seven COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Wednesday, the total is now 2277.
Active cases in Brookings County increase by one to 113. Seven new cases reported, raising the total to 5206. Recovered cases are at 5054. There have been 39 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 207 to 6290. Total cases are up by 555 to 158,822. There are 150,255 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by two, to 233.
Sixty-eight percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
