Seven COVID-19 deaths reported Wednesday in the Department of Health weekly update – the statewide total is now 3106.

There have been 1089 new cases statewide in the last week and hospitalizations have decreased by 12 to 62. There have been 269,886 total cases.

In Brookings County, there have been 28 new cases reported in the last week, raising the yearly total to 3,304. There have been 17 deaths in 2022. There are currently no hospitalizations in Brookings County for COVID-19.
