Sioux falls man sentenced to 30-years for rape in Roberts County

A Sioux Falls man has been sentenced to 30-years in prison for first degree rape.
The South Dakota Attorney General’s Office says 60-year-old Donald Anderson was sentenced last week in in Roberts County Circuit Court for the rape of a girl who was between five and eight-years-old at the time. Anderson had earlier pled guilty in the case.
Attorney General Marty Jackley says the case was strengthened by the work of the law enforcement officers and prosecutors involved. He says they also want to recognize the young girl’s bravery in coming forward in very difficult circumstances.
