Active cases in Brookings County increase by 2 to 15. There are 4 new cases and the total is now 4230. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County and there are 4178 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 161. The County is in the “moderate” community spread category.

Statewide, active cases go down by 25 to 391. Total cases increase by 58 to 124,162. There are 121,761 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations hold at 49.

Fifty-four percent of the state has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. Some 651,929 vaccinations have been administered in the state to 350,416 people. A total of 26,304 doses have been given in Brookings County to 14,397 people.
