Active cases in Brookings County hold at 279. Fourteen new cases were reported, bringing the total to 4852. Recovered cases are at 4536. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 11 to 7725. Total cases are up by 587 to 142,330. There are 132,490 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations decrease by 23 to 203.
Sixty-four percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
