South Dakota man sentenced for threatening member of U.S. Congress

A South Dakota man who threatened to kill Nancy Pelosi and others will spend two years on probation.

Officials say, in June of 2020, Larry Grueschow of Armour called the Congresswoman’s office and threatened to kill her and others.

The 65-year-old Grueschow pleaded guilty in February. He was sentenced Monday in federal court in Sioux Falls. Grueschow was also ordered to pay $100 to the Federal Crime Victims Fund.

The FBI investigated the case.
