South Dakota up to 58 confirmed COVID-19 cases; community spread in 9 counties

Twelve additional COVD-19 cases reported today in South Dakota, raising the total to 58.

There are 2387 negative cases and 20 are pending at the state health lab. Twenty-one people have recovered from the virus. There has been one fatality.

Cases have now been confirmed in 18 different counties with community spread in Beadle, Hughes, Lawrence, Lincoln, Lyman, McCook, Minnehaha, Pennington and Todd counties.

There is still just one confirmed case in Brookings County.
