Suspects attempt vehicle burglaries at Volga business

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating attempted theft from trucks at a Volga business.
An employee of a business on the 200 block of industrial Drive was inside his semi-truck
shortly before 10:00 o’clock Wednesday evening when three unknown individuals tried to open the door to his truck.
Having no success, the three moved on and were seen attempting to enter other trucks, also unsuccessfully.
One of the three was wearing a bandana and the other two were carrying backpacks.
During a search of the area, three abandoned bicycles were recovered.
