Three candidates for Brookings Mayor as Bradley Walker files for the post

There are now three candidates for Brookings Mayor. Bradley Walker is the latest to file. He joins current Council Member Ope Niemeyer and former Brookings Police Chief Jeff Miller in the race. Current Mayor Keith Corbett is not seeking reelection

There are five candidates for two Brookings City Council seats. Incumbent council members Patty bacon and Nick Wendell have filed as have Isaiah Crevier, Nick Schmeichel and Nate Holden.

For Brookings School Board, three people have filed so far for the two available seats. Incumbent Debra DeBates has filed as have Keli Books and Jade Withers.

The second seat is currently held by Roger DeGroot.

Nominating petitions for the April 13th City and School Election must be filed by 5:00 pm today.
