Three COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Tuesday, the total is now 2270.
Active cases in Brookings County decease by two to 112. Sixteen new cases reported, raising the total to 5199. Recovered cases are at 5048. There have been 39 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 122 to 6083. Total cases are up by 871 to 158,267. There are 149,914 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by 45 to 231.
Today’s numbers include the weekend count.
Sixty-eight percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
