Three COVID-19 deaths reported Tuesday in South Dakota as active cases go down
Three COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Tuesday. The total is now 2108.
Active cases in Brookings County decrease by eight and are at 275. Thirty-five new cases reported Tuesday, bringing the total to 4818. Recovered cases are at 4506. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, thanks to the large number of recovered cases, active cases decrease by 291 to 7636. Total cases are up by 739 to 141,141. There are 131,397 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by 34 to 236.
Today’s numbers include cases reported over the weekend.
Sixty-four percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
