Two Brookings businesses fail latest alcohol compliance check

The Brookings Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks last Thursday on eleven businesses. Two establishment’s failed and served to an underage buyer.
The two that failed were The Wild Hare and The Lanes Bowling Alley.
The employee who served to the underage buyer is cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor and the business faces possible penalties from the South Dakota Department of Revenue.
