Two COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Tuesday. The total is now 2069.
Active cases in Brookings County increase by 14 and are at 135. Twenty-four new cases reported Tuesday, bringing the total to 4480. Recovered cases are at 4308. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category
Statewide, active cases increase by 709 to 5035. Total cases are up by 1020 to 132,259. There are 125,155 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by 48 to 216.
Sixty-two percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
