Two COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Wednesday. The total is now 2205.
Active cases in Brookings County decrease by four to 128. Nine new cases reported, raising the total to 5072. Recovered cases are at 4906. There have been 38 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 44 to 5723. Total cases are up by 466 to 151,554. There are 143,626 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations increase by five to 200.
Sixty-six percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
