Two killed in head-on crash near Florence

Two people were killed Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash east of Florence in Codington County.
Names have not yet been released pending notification of family.
According to the South Dakota Highway Patrol, an SUV was eastbound on South Dakota Highway 20 when it crossed the center line and entered the westbound lane, colliding with a second SUV.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
