Wagner woman sentenced in the death of her infant son

A Wagner woman has been sentenced on an involuntary manslaughter charge for the 2021 death of her infant son.
A federal district judge sentenced 29-year-old Chelsea Andersh to four years of probation.
Andersh, after smoking methamphetamine and marijuana, gave her five-month old son a bottle and brought him in bed with her. Later that day, the baby was discovered on his side, next to his mother with his face under her arm, deceased.
The autopsy revealed that the cause of death was asphyxia due to smothering.
