Watering restrictions announced for Brookings community gardens

Due to the continuing drought, Brookings Municipal Utilities needs to restrict the use of water for irrigating at the Douglas Chittick Community Gardens in Brookings.

Effective Monday, July 19th, watering at Douglas Chittick Community Gardens will only be allowed 7:00 a.m. Monday to 7:00 a.m. Tuesday and 7:00 a.m. Friday to 7:00 a.m. Saturday

Compliance with these water restrictions is necessary to assure the health and safety of the community.
