Brookings, S.D. – July 28, 2022 – Nicole Winseman was recently named diagnostic imaging director at Brookings Health System.
Winseman was hired as a nuclear medicine technologist at Brookings Health System last fall and served as the interim radiology director this spring during a candidate search. She has 23 years of radiology experience, including nuclear medicine and PET/CT. She holds an associate degree in nuclear medicine from Southeast Technical Institute, Sioux Falls.
As diagnostic imaging director, Winseman will oversee routine radiologic, ultrasound, CT, MRI and nuclear medicine procedures performed at Brookings Health System. She will maintain the system for reporting imaging study results to providers and ensure all radiology team members perform diagnostic testing in accordance with quality standards and government requirements. She will also spearhead department process improvement and service initiatives.
