Woman pleads guilty in Pierre homicide

A plea deal has been reached in a Pierre homicide case. Hughes County States Attorney Jessica LaMie says 39-year-old Miranda Henry has agreed to plead guilty to First Degree Manslaughter-Domestic Violence.
Some documents in the case were ordered sealed by the judge and LaMie says that will limit what public can see about how Henry killed 49-year-old Christopher Mexican. The two were in a relationship.
Mexican was found dead by Pierre police on February 9th of this year following a disturbance call at a Pierre hotel. Sentencing for Henry is scheduled for late February.
