Body discovered in Yankton park, foul play not suspected

Yankton police say they do not suspect foul play is involved in the discovery of a body in a Yankton park.
The body was found shortly before Noon Sunday morning in the Westside Park Pond area.
Yankton Police and Sheriff’s Office, Yankton County Search and Rescue and Yankton County EMS assisted with the recovery of the body.
An autopsy was conducted Monday and preliminary results are expected no later than early next week.
