Brookings County Sheriff’s Office investigating vandalism of camping spots in Elkton

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the vandalism of two camping spots in Elkton.
It happened sometime between November first and Wednesday at the campground on 3rd Street.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says the evidence shows two full-hookup camping spot utilities were destroyed when a Toyota Rav 4 hit the utility posts.
It will cost an estimated $3000 to repair the damage.
