Brookings Health System named to Newsweek’s “World’s Best Hospitals” list for 3rd straight year

For the third straight year, Brookings Health System has been named to Newsweek’s list of World’s Best Hospitals.

Brookings Health ranks 229 of the Best Hospitals 2023 in the United States, up 25 spots from last year.

Accordign to a press release, Newsweek has developed a complex methodology to assemble the ranking. It includes hospital recommendations fro medical experts, patient outcomes and several quality metrics including quality of treatment, patient safety and waiting times.

Brookings Health System President and CEO Jason Merkley says, “Unsolicited recognition such as this validates our team’s dedication to patient safety and satisfaction.”
