Brookings man arrested after allegedly killing 3 cats

A Brookings man is arrested after reportedly killing three cats.
On Friday, Brookings Police took a report of a male who strangled three cats.
Detective Adam Smith says officers located and interviewed 33-year-old Cory Martison of Brookings regarding this incident. Smith says Martinson admitted choking the cats to death.
He was arrested for three counts of cruelty to animals, a class 6 felony. He was booked into the Brookings County Jail with bond set at $1,000 cash.
