Business damaged by fire in Bryant

A half-dozen fire departments were on the scene of a large fire early Thursday morning on Main Street in Bryant.
The Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office says the fire was in the 200 block of West Main Street, and was reported around 6:30.
An eyewitness says the fire was in the southwest corner of the W.W. Tire building, which is used for offices.
Fire departments from Bryant, Hazel, Lake Norden, Willow Lake, Badger, and Hayti battled the blaze for several hours. They were still on the scene late Thursday morning peeling back portions of the roof, looking for hot spots.
The cause of the fire is unknown and no injuries were reported.
