Extensive losses in Volga construction equipment fire

Construction equipment and a pickup are damaged in a Volga fire.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says the Volga Fire Department and Sheriff’s Office responded to the fire at 101 Caspian Avenue shortly before 2:00 o’clock Sunday afternoon.
Sebring says a paver and trailer were on fire. He says the paver trailer had been parked about a half-hour prior to the fire to cool down.
A pickup truck, a small utility trailer, and a semi-trailer were parked nearby. The pickup was a complete loss. The trailers were damaged. Total damages for the paver, pick up and three trailers is estimated at $105,000.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
