Active cases in Brookings County increase by 15 and are at 223. Twenty-seven new cases reported Monday, bringing the total to 4660. Recovered cases are at 4400. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 194 to 7226. Total cases are up by 528 to 137,300. There are 127,986 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations decrease by six to 197.
Sixty-three percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
