Man killed in Sioux Falls rollover

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – One man was killed early Monday morning in a single-vehicle rollover crash at the Interstate 29 and 229 interchange in Sioux Falls.

The man’s SUV was traveling north on Interstate 29 when he attempted to take the on ramp to Interstate 229. The driver lost control and the vehicle eventually rolled.

The 58-year-old driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s name is not yet being released pending notification of family. He was the only person involved.

The Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
