BROOKINGS COUNTY (7-13-26) — The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of a solar panel for an electric fence.
The theft was reported July 11 shortly before 3 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies found that a solar panel valued at $500 had been stolen off an electric fence on 207th Street near 487th Avenue. The sheriff’s office says they believe the theft took place sometime between July 5 and July 11.
