One Brookings County business fails Friday alcohol compliance check

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office completed alcohol compliance checks of local businesses in the county and one failed.
A total of 10 businesses were checked Frdiay. Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says the business that failed was the Elkton Municipal Lounge. They sold alcohol to a 19 year old buyer.
During the previous compliance check in June of 2019, two businesses made sales to the underage buyer.
