One COVID-19 death in South Dakota; big drop in active cases

One COVID-19 death reported in South Dakota Thursday, the total is now 1301.

Active cases in Brookings County have decreased by 51 to 241. Total cases are up by 15 to 2784. There have been 24 deaths in Brookings County and there are 2519 recovered cases. The ever hospitalized number is at 95. The County is in the substantial community spread category.

Statewide, a big drop in active cases as they go down by 2231 to 8756. Total cases have gone up by 594 and are now at 93,197. The number of people who have recovered is 83,140. Current hospitalizations have decreased by 6 and are at 406.
