Active cases in Brookings County increase by eight and are at 233. Twenty-one new cases reported Tuesday, bringing the total to 4708. Recovered cases are at 4438. There have been 37 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 101 to 7364. Total cases are up by 568 to 138,860. There are 129,403 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations decrease by 11 to 204.
Sixty-three percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
