One man killed in Brown County collision

One person died Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash south of Frederick in Brown County.
Names have not been released pending notification of family.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol reports a pickup was southbound on U.S. Highway 281 when a northbound SUV made a left turn in front of the pickup. The vehicles collided and came to rest in the ditch.
The 85-year-old man driving the SUV died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The 40-year-old male driver of the pickup suffered serious non-life-threatening injuries.
