Reward offered in cattle shooting
A reward is being offered for information on a cattle shooting earlier this month northwest of Brookings.
Three Charlois cows and a calf were shot and two of the cows and the calf were killed. It happened sometime during the night or early morning of August 3rd and 4th in a pasture near the intersection of 207th Street and 467th Avenue.
Assistant Brookings County Sheriff Scott Sebring says the owner is offering a $1000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
The cows are valued at $3000 each, the calf at $1000.
