Sheriff’s Office investigating rural Brookings burglary

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a rural Brookings residential Burglary.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says it was reported Friday evening and had happened sometime in the last 24 hours on the 3900 block of Main Avenue South.
A suspect or suspects forced open a locked door, entered the home and stole jewelry, clothes, and gift cards.
Anyone with any information should contact the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at 692-STOP.
