Sheriff’s Office investigating Volga hit and run

The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a hit and run that happened Saturday evening on the 100 block of Kasan Avenue in Volga.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring says the owner of a car reported they were in a business for about 90-minutes, starting at about 7:00 pm. When they returned to their vehicle, parked on the west side of the Avenue, they discovered damaged to the driver’s side.
A silver-colored vehicle, possibly a Ford SUV, had hit the car. There was about $2200 damage.
Sebring says area residents and motorists with dash cameras are asked to check their recordings for any vehicles matching the description.
