Three COVID-19 deaths reported in South Dakota Wednesday. The total is now 2231.
Active cases in Brookings County increase by 3 to 121. Ten new cases reported, raising the total to 5123. Recovered cases are at 4964. There have been 38 deaths in Brookings County. The County is in the “high” community spread category.
Statewide, active cases increase by 72 to 5464. Total cases are up by 453 to 153,774. There are 146,079 recovered cases. Current hospitalizations are up six to 199.
Sixty-seven percent of the state’s eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
