Two incumbents file for Brookings School Board

The two incumbents have filed to seek reelection to the Brookings School Board.

Both Debra DeBates and Keli L. Books have turned in their petitions. They hold the two seats up for election this year.

The School and City Election is set for April 9th.

Three people have filed on the City side. Wayne Avery has filed to seek reelection to the City Council. Al Austreim previously filed for Council and Mayor Ope Niemeyer has filed for reelection. There are two City Council seats up this year. The other is currently held by Nick Wendell.

The deadline to file petitions for both city and school is Friday, February 23.
