Brandon man killed in single-vehicle crash

A 27-year-old Brandon man died Sunday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Lincoln County.
The name of the man has not been released pending notification of family.
The Highway patrol reports the man was driving a pickup that went through a stop sign at a T-intersection. The vehicle went airborne and struck an embankment. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
Alcohol use is under investigation.
