Four businesses fail Brookings alcohol compliance check

Four businesses fail the latest compliance checks conducted by the Brookings Police Department.

Lt. Joe Fishbaugher says eight businesses were checked on Wednesday, April 10th. The four that sold alcoholic beverages to the underage buyer were Casey’s Gas Station on 8th Street South, Casey’s Gas Station on 22nd Avenue South, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Boss’ Pizza.

The employees who sold to the underage buyer are cited with furnishing alcohol to a minor and the businesses face possible fines and sanctions from the South Dakota Department of Revenue.
